C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
Filed a claim a month ago, one request for more information, sent that, still no response. Called 10 days after submitting second round of information, representative told me they had not looked at it yet. She would let the person reviewing my case know it was in her inbox. Not very efficient. After filing this review got a call the next day and claim was approved. Should not have been but all is well now.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold
had this same plan for several years; provides good coverage, we used it once to change a reservation, they simply changed the plan to cover our new reservation.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Prime
Fortunately we did not have to use the coverage for the trip but it was good to know we had it. The price seemed high but I think it was competitive, perhaps even less, than other companies’ plans.

Very shortly after my trip, I used the email listed on the Insure My Trip site to request information from the insurer on how to file a trip delay claim. After a week with no reply, I tried emailing a 2nd time and then did receive a relatively quick reply with the information I needed to file my claim. The review email indicating they had approved part of my claim was received in a timely fashion thereafter. Apparently, I need to be more careful in how I read policies - as their interpretation of 'one time delay' meant that they will only reimburse me for expenses on the outgoing OR the return trip. Thankfully, a relatively small amount of money is involved by this interpretation - but it's disappointing that an airline can so horrendously delay us on both legs of a round-trip and discover that only one leg is covered.

I have always used your company for travel insurance and been very pleased with the people on the phone helping me.
I have fortunately never had to file a claim so, I cant respond to that part of your service but what I have experienced has been A+.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
CSA handled my claim for delayed baggage very efficiently. The check was in mail within a day from my filing of the claim.
Unfortunately, the CSA "economy" travel protection plan I bought in November 2016 is no longer available at the time of this writing (April 2017) for my current booking of a trip to Thailand in January 2018.

    I filed a claim 22 days ago and have heard nothing, AND on top of that, it was a "cancel for any reason" claim!
    They will never get my business again.

      John Hancock claims department issued Evan's check on April 14, 2017, so he should shortly be receiving payment. Please keep in mind that John Hancock asks claimants to allow up to 30 days after they receive the paperwork for them to review and settle the claim.
