I'm sorry that I didn't respond earlier (found this in old email). I did experience the theft of my purse at the Nice Airport and Nationwide "had my back". While, of course, there were financial limitations which meant that my losses exceeded the reimbursement, I was pleased with how I was treated by phone and was surprised by the quick response to my claim. You are my "go to" now! Thanks so much for making an upsetting incident much less.

Easy to obtain and peace of mind in case of a medical emergency. Most people don't realize if you are in Medicare and need/obtain medical services out of the U.S., MMEDICARE WILL NOT COVER YOUR EXPENSES.

I did not make any claims on this policy in that it went smoothly but it was a comfort knowing I had it in the event I needed it. I had booked my trip 4 months earlier and I was concerned of any sicknesses I or other family members might encounter but the heavens smiled down on me and all went fine. Travel Accident Plan
My trip ended 3 1/2 weeks early due an emergency funding issue. When I called to seek a partial refund, I was told I should have called before departure rather than after I arrived home. Other than "that is our company policy," no other reason or explanation was provided. Given the high cost of the policy, it seems unreasonable.
