Plan fit our needs at what I thought was a very reasonable cost for the amount of coverage it provided. Fortunately it wasn't necessary for us to have to file a claim but was well worth the cost for the peace of mind it afforded us. Would consider one of these plans again if the need arises.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Lite
The one thing that happened your plan did not cover. My husband lost a tooth from his partial in the top front of his mouth while eating an appetizer on the cruise. Obviously, he swallowed it.

Very disappointed.

Of course I thought it would be covered because it had dental on the plan, yet, who would ever think it would break loose eating.

Emergency dental treatment due to accidental injury to sound, natural teeth is covered up to 750USD on this plan. You were likely informed there would be no coverage in the instance you described because an accidental injury did not occur to a sound, natural tooth. The dental benefits provided by this plan reflect the industry standard.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
In 2014 my husband and I were traveling in Namibia and had a tire blow out. We purchased a new tire for $250. Upon returning to the states, I called CSA. They told me exactly what to send them, (including airplane boarding passes, tire receipts, etc.) Within two weeks, we received a check for the full amount. Their telephone response team is very knowledgeable and will work with you to get the policy best suited to your needs. I have recommended them to my friends.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Universal Cruise
Since I fortunately did not need to use the plan it is hard to rate the service.

It gave me peace of mind however knowing someone had "my back" if things did not go as planned.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential
I had to change trip dates and other companies I used in past first person I spoke to handled everything. This plan was I guess a broker and a third party. Documentation had to be fielded through them first. My docs supposedly were lost. Took 2 1/2 weeks to get determination. Was very discouraged. I then was worried if I had to do a claim would same thing happen ???
