Although the fine print of the policy would eliminate my claim, I must emphasize that the coverage such as Trip Delays are very limited and failed to pay for late receipt of luggage by the airline during transfer and clearance through customs. This cost us over $300 and was excluded by the coverage. One previous claim was also not paid by CSA and this makes me question their real concern for fair coverage of the client versus their desire for greater profit as a company. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU TRY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND EVERY WORD OF THE COVERAGE BEFORE ENROLLING.

To further help ensure customer satisfaction, we also offer a free look back period with all of our plans to allow customers to cancel their policies within a designated period as long as they haven't already left on their trip or filed a claim. Unfortunately, the plan you purchased is not able to provide coverage for every event that might cause your trip to be interrupted or delayed, though it does include approximately 20 different covered events that can qualify for Trip Interruption coverage and approximately 10 different covered events that can qualify for Travel Delay coverage (depending on your state of residence). We understand your trip was delayed due to receiving your luggage late in your connecting city. Unfortunately this is not a covered reason for either coverage. Excellent travel insurance option. Very well written documentation outlining all aspects of coverage including important coverage details. Thankfully, I did not have to exercise my options, but am confident that had it been necessary to file a claim, I would have been very satisfied with the outcome. I will definitely consider using CSA Travel Protection on any future trip.

Although I did not need to file a claim, it was reassuring to have this coverage when two flights involving connections were cancelled. I have used CSA before and found its detailed information on claim process to be very clear.

What I most appreciated about your plan was the flexibility. When I had to cancel a trip after I had paid the premium ,you gave me a year to plan another trip. Even when I had to change the dates ,you let me use the plan for the later dates. It was great to have the peace of mind that came with your insurance plan. All of your representatives were kind and helpful. I'm very glad that I didn't need to use the insurance.

Travelex Travel Max
This was my first trip out of the country since I switched to Medicare for health coverage. Medicare does not provide any coverage outside the US. Previously my employer -sponsored health coverage provided emergency care out of the country. Fortunately I did not have to use the plan but wanted the reassurance to know it was there if I needed it.
I liked the communication provided by the company just prior to my trip with a link to the policy etc.
I will use this same plan again for future trips.

MEDEX TravMed Choice Outbound
This was my first time purchasing travel insurance and it won't be my last! Knowing I was covered in case something went wrong gave me the freedom to do the things I really wanted to do, especially go hiking. Without the insurance I would be worried about getting stranded on the mountains, getting lyme disease (as the risks in Scotland this year were higher than usual), but because I had insurance I took precautions but I wasn't scared to get out there and enjoy nature. I loved it!
