I almost needed to use the insurance due to food poisoning. I got very sick on the plane and was taken to the airport clinic when landed in Qatar. They told me that they will not allow me to take the 17 hours connecting flight to Miami, unless my vital signs were normal in due time. Fortunately, all the medicine worked and 2 hour later I was given permission to take my connecting flight. No need for the insurance because there were no charges.

I had to file a small claim after my child had to visit the ship doctor during our cruise. April Travel Protection was easy to deal with and quick to reimburse me 100% for my medical expenses.
