I provided all the evidence documents from the airport, China Southern Airlines, itemize experience to the claim adjuster, and she denied my claimed due to no receipts. She doesn't understand that in China country most the time they don't provide receipts especially where I bought. Not fair at all, not very satisfied with the service. Rip off system.

    "Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with regards to your baggage delay claim. Unfortunately, you were unable to provide “proof of loss” including a statement from airline that the baggage was in fact delayed and receipts for necessary personal items that you would have purchased. This is required in order to establish proof that you incurred a loss and have a valid and payable a claim.”

AXA Assistance USA Platinum
Something happened with our luck on that trip and we had to file more than one claim. First one was for delayed luggage for the international flight. Second one was for broken luggage for another part of our trip. Both cases were handled relatively fast by AXA Assistance USA without any hassle and trouble. We provided all information required via email. Phone communication with agents on all occasions was very good: courteous and professional. I would re-use AXA Assistance USA in my future travels.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold
We looked at several options, including from the cruise-line, and this gave us the best coverage for a reasonable price. We didn't need to use the insurance, but it gave me confidence knowing that we had it.

Seven Corners Roundtrip
The Seven Corners Roundtrip plan covered what we wanted. We did not have to file a claim. However, before the trip in a call to Seven Corners with a question, we encountered an impatient, abrasive customer service representative. Therefore, we will not use this company in the future.
