    Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The John Hancock Bronze plan covers a wide range of unforeseen events for Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. The list of covered events includes but is not limited to:

    (c) Inclement weather, Natural Disasters, Terrorist Attacks, or mechanical breakdown of the common carrier which results in the complete cessation of travel services at the point of departure or destination for at least 24 consecutive hours.
    (d) Adverse weather or Natural Disasters resulting in the complete cessation of travel services.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Basic
I did have to call once before my trip to inquire as to coverage in the event of an impending death in my family. The representative that I spoke with was nice but did not sound very confident in her explanation of coverage. Just something to work on.

However, the AIG Travel Guard Basic Plan provides Trip Cancellation coverage for the unforeseen Sickness, Injury or death of an Insured, Family Member, Traveling Companion subject to the pre-existing conditions exclusion as defined in the policy. The exclusion does not apply to death.

I was very pleased with the service I received. The agent I spoke with was very understanding of the importance and nature of my Travel Visa Medical plan requirements.

As with all insurance, it is only worth the money if you need to file a claim. We did not but it was good to know that the Seven Corners Roundtrip Choice plan was there in case we needed it. .
