A recent medical condition made it possible that I would have to cancel our trip. The plan gave us great peace of mind. I also thought about the plan when a member of our tour fell and required stitches and a MRI in Italy. I would recommend this plan.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
As a frequent traveler, I was looking for an annual multi-trip insurance. These products including trip cancellation are readily available in the UK and Ireland but don't seem to be here. I don't think it would be cost effective to insure trips on a one by one basis.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Lite
My trip went quite smoothly, so I had no reason to use the plan. Therefore, it is difficult to say that it provided the protection I might have needed or the service I would have expected. It was comforting to know that some protection was there, if the need had arisen.
