“I’m sorry to hear about these challenges surrounding your canceled trip. Our insurance plans include a list of covered reasons for cancellation. Claims are fully adjudicated based on the coverage purchased, and supporting documentation. Covered perils are outlined within the Policy of Insurance, and are reviewed with Insureds during the claims adjudication process. Aside from cancellation coverage, all other benefits are “port departure” benefits, meaning the loss must occur while on the covered trip for coverage to apply.
