My son got sick on trip and was treated by medical staff aboard the ship. When we returned I contacted travelex and submitted my receipts from medical and the claim was handled expeditiously. I am very pleased with the insurance and have since taken out another policy for my next trip.

Didn't have to use the coverage so no way to gauge the actual effectiveness but everything was smooth from the standpoint of signing up, receiving the policy and getting reminders to take it along on the trip in case anything did go wrong.

AIG Travel Travel Guard MedEvac Plan
I aways buy the AIG Travel Guard MedEvac insurance when I travel. It is a very good value for what it offers and I am glad that it is so easy to buy on InsureMyTrip. I used to buy it from my travel agent but is such a hassle for a small amount to them. And most other people really don't want to bother selling it as it is so small.
