I've needed trip insurance once and it's well worth it. I chose this plan based on it having the coverage I wanted and it's competitive price. Luckily I didn't need the coverage on my trip but I had the peace of mind during my trip with the plan.

The insurance covered the requirements of the Costa Rican Health Plan. As far as actual benefit, if coverage was needed, is unknown due to the lack of need.

I would not consider investing in any vaction without trip insurance. The plan I purchaced was fair and affordable. Having peace of mind is not a waste of money and I certainly recommend trip insurance for any size vacation.

Had to contact my state’s Insurance Commission and the Wisconsin BBB to get fair treatment. Things are finally resolved after endless humiliation and hassle and only resolved thanks to the Insurance Commissioner and the BBB.

We have taken out similiar policies underwitten by the same insurer to this one on many trips in the past, including experiencing an earthquake and it's aftermath in January 2020.
Though we suffered no losses nor delays the folks at CSA were constantly in touch with us to ensure all was well and proactively offered assistance if needed.
