Getting the insurance was really easy. However I didn't file a claim so I'm not sure how HCC actually works. I had a longer term policy and the most frustrating thing was that HCC requires you to call in for just about everything, so if you're overseas it can be really difficult or expensive since there just aren't that many land line phones around.

I was very thankful that I didn't have to use the medical insurance plan as everything went absolutely wonderful. It was a comfort just knowing I had a plan if something did come up that I could use it.

Fortunately, I did not need to put in a claim. I can't say much more than it was adequate and at a reasonable price. Also easy to buy online.
