AIG Travel Travel Guard MedEvac Plan
In my professional life, I am a flight physician on medevac flights for repatriation of patients who have gotten ill/injured while away on vacation, so I see the benefit these policies have in expediting their repatriation and speedy return to a level of care needed to treat them.

Of course, until one needs to file a claim, one can't know how effective the coverage is for the unanticipated event. Thankfully we didn't need to file a claim, and it was re-assuring to know that we had coverage had it been needed.

I am a caregiver for my Mom who is 90. Once a year I take a vacation, because I really need it. Having good trip insurance is essential, because I never know if I will need to cancel or reschedule my trip. I have used Insure my Trip for my three trips to Europe since 2013. Although I have not executed any claims , It gives a person better security. On this last recent trip, I was on the fence about canceling three days before leaving. I did not have to cancel or interrupt my trip , but it was a possibility.
Thank You for providing additional peace of mind , for the ones who have to care for others, before we can go !
