Hard to write a review for a plan (thank goodness) that we did not need to file a claim. But, in our research, we found that this plan provided the benefits we wanted at a great price. Having coverage made our 2 week trip more enjoyable, knowing that we had coverage for medical, delays, lost baggage, car, etc. Would purchase again. FYI, the day after we flew out of Heathrow, the BA meltdown occurred. Many people were thankful they had travel insurance to get them back home, cover various costs. I guess that is why they call it - insurance.

I spent hours and hours on the phone with customer service trying to get a straight answer about possibly filing a claim. I was told I'd be called back; I wasn't. I asked to speak to a supervisor; he/she wasn't available. I was so frustrated that I called the site who I purchased the plan through and ended up in tears on the phone (and she, by the way, was VERY helpful). So incredibly frustrated by the whole experience. We won't be using AXA ever again.

We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Have received WAY TOO MANY emails from AIG telling me to log in check a message besides the actual message from the claims adjuster who already emailed to tell me a check was on its way. Don't waste my time! Will consider another insurance company for our next trip.
