Generali Global Assistance Standard
This was my first experience with travel insurance. We lost a day of our trip to Italy due to flight delays and weather. I filed a claim with supporting documents and we were reimbursed in full, quickly and without issue. Yes, I would highly recommend CSA.

It is crucial to obtain trip insurance if you are going to another country because Medicare does NOT cover outside the USA. One never wants to be without medical insurance. Although we usually have no medical problems with tons of travel, when there is a problem it really matters to know that you have someone to advise, assist, and cover you.

    Comprehensive Coverage plan premiums are calculated based on age of travelers, trip cost and length of trip. In some plans, destination may also affect the premium. You did choose the least expensive of our Comprehensive plans, so the policy premium was only 6.3% of your total trip cost.

    Your comments on price is a frequent complaint. Nevertheless we do not expect any decrease in rates in the foreseeable future.
