Nationwide Mutual Insurance Universal Cruise
We had filed a claim for a flight out of Washington to Norway which was delayed. The process was very detailed with a lot of uploading paper work to show that we purchased another connecting flight in order to make our cruise time. Nationwide did make good on the claim for $200. (which was in the policy for the delay). With that being said the policy was good to have if something major was to take place.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
The US State Department issued a Level 4 travel advisory a few weeks before our trip so we were unable to travel as planned. It took a while to gather all of our receipts and documents and to figure out how to file the online claim for non-refundable costs. However, C&F Travel Insured called just a few weeks later to let us know the claim had been approved, and they direct deposited payment right after we provided bank account information. Very satisfied with the plan and overall experience.

GeoBlue Voyager Choice
I followed your instructions when we got sick while traveling. I called your 24/7 phone number NINE TIMES, and there was no answer. I emailed you, desperate for assistance in being seen by a doctor/getting medical attention in the area. It took you SIX DAYS TO RESPOND TO MY EMAIL asking for help. We had already left the country we were in, and spent 7 hours in an emergency room in a foreign country. You are non-responsive. I want a refund. We paid for nothing. Your service is total garbage. You should seriously consider refunding my $250. It was a complete waste of money. Our ER bill was less than our deductible, so we could not even file a claim. Your policy is a joke of a product. It's ridiculous.

Submitted a claim for a cruise cancelled due to illness. Received the insurance check in the mail 22 days later. No issues, no pushback from the company. Very happy with the process!

Our trip was cancelled. We have provided a great deal of documentation and information but IMG keeps asking for more and more and more - and they are difficult to deal with. Very slow and very, very poor responsiveness and service. Will NEVER buy through this company again. Will probably never receive any of my claims money.
Amended 11/27 - Still the worst I have ever experienced. PLEASE NOTE - the many 4 and 5 star reviews are from customers who NEVER HAD TO FILE A CLAIM. Why would you rate a company when all you did was pay the premium??? The reason for a company earning a 4 or 5 star rating should be for great trip insurance WHEN YOU DO NEED TO FILE A CLIAIM. IMG Medical is NOT that company.
