Travelex Travel Basic
June 14 I just sent in my claim for medical aboard ship and lost bag when departure between ship and air port. Now I will find out how good they are. The claim I turned in was taken care of in about 8 days after sending in claim VERY satisfied.

According to our records, we did not receive an email (nor a phone call) requesting cancellation of your policy. Additionally, if you were to have cancelled 3 days after the conclusion of our 14-day free-look window, a refund for your trip cost would only have been given for a covered reason as outlined by your description of coverage, assuming you cancelled the entirety of your trip and not just the insurance. We had to cancel our trip due to a health problem of one of our group. She had had some depression before we purchased the insurance, but her depression became so sever that she was unable to travel. Therefore the insurance didn't help us since there was a 6 month pre-existing condition. In the future we will purchase one that covers any cause requiring cancelation of the trip.

We did not have to use the coverage but I made sure it had terrorist coverage which seems necessary for travel today. Hopefully it would allow us to cancel if there had been an act where we were going.
