Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company Essential Plan provided all the coverage I look for when purchasing a Travel Insurance Plan. The Plan not only covers the Trip Cancellation, Interruption, and Lost Luggage, but also the more important coverage of High Limits for Medical and Medical Evacuation at a very good price.

Travelex Travel Select
I was disturbed to discover that my stolen prescription glasses were not covered and asked for the name and address of the Travelex president. I was told they could not supply this, but would take my information for a callback, which I never received. If this is your kind of customer relations, I can only guess how any claim would be handled. Very disappointing.

    Thank you for your review even though you expressed disappointment when dealing with Travelex. However, we are sorry to say that prescription glasses are excluded under Baggage Loss in all travel insurance plans. Even if you had purchased a plan other than Travelex, you would not have had coverage for prescription glasses.
