    Thank you for providing your comment which we would like to clarify for you.
    On the date that you purchased the policy, HTH Worldwide sent you an email saying:

    "Thank you for choosing the TravelGap Excursion insurance plan. If you have not already done so, you can print your ID card, which includes our emergency assistance phone numbers, your certificate of insurance, your proof of medical coverage for a consulate and other important welcome materials immediately when you register at Member Services or visit www.hthtravelinsurance.com."

    Apparently you did not read this email in full so that you did not follow through to print your documents and ID card. In the future, if you do not receive information in a timely manner, please give us a call so we can advise you before you leave on your trip.

The on line sign up process and payment by credit card was pretty straight forward. I called customer service one time, but cause I had not gotten the police in the mail. the reception told me it was sent but might have gone to my Spam, he sent it a gain right away and asked if I needed any further assistance. I did not have to file a claim, but that was what I wanted. It seemed like a good value for he money, Having the police and all the contact number, gave me piece of mind, I am glad I bought it.

My cruise was cancelled due to bankruptcy and this pathetic insurance policy was worth nothing to us. They refused to cover any airfare or accommodation loses what so ever, because they we not considered a covered event! Give me a break!

InsureandGo Global Silver
Our claim was denied and it should not have been and we plan to dispute it. The response from the claims department has been abysmal. Many emails go unanswered and though they claim the denial was issued in February for a December trip, they never sent any information despite numerous follow up requests. When someone from claims finally responded after three follow up emails, the responses were unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this provider at all if you actually want your insurance to get used.

I always get cruise insurance. You just never know what will happen. Others have not gotten it and had a medical emergency. It can get rather expensive.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Platinum
We, thankfully, did not need to use our insurance this year, but it certainly provided peace of mind. A woman we know staying at the same resort got sick and needed to be flown back on a medical flight. She didn’t purchase insurance. The cost of the flight was $27,000.

This plan was referred to me by a veteran Cruise maniac. The price is very reasonable and covers the basics for my cruise. One MUST have cruise insurance before leaving the states.
