Should you call the 24 hr Assist company and it is not a medical emergency, InsureandGo will find a provider in the area network, so that the insured has no out of pocket expense. If the condition is unstable and they need immediate medical assistance, they will find the closest provider (whether in or out of network) and they may be able to pay on the insured's behalf, otherwise, it is reimbursable.
Of course, if the assistance company is not notified and the insured makes arrangements on their own, medical expenses will be on a reimbursement basis, if a payable claim.
