We didn't need to use this, thank goodness. The coverage was rather expensive and, because we didn't sign up early enough, the plan did not cover all medical expenses--only secondary coverage. As seniors, we have Medicare as our basic insurance and that didn't cover us as we were traveling.

Obviously the claim process is the most important part of the coverage, however, we were impressed at the communication by email during our trip. They provided claim numbers, customer service numbers etc. COVID protection was part of plan.

Like nearly everyone else taking cruise vacations, we had to swap around the departure and return dates for our travel insurance. Not a problem - easy as pie to make the change although I learned that I had to call insuremytrip and not the Nationwide or Trawick. Thankfully, we had no need to make any claims so I can't comment on that process.
