I was most worried about flights with winter weather which is why I purchased the plan for piece of mind. I thought the cost was a bit high compared to the chat if my trip. Maybe next time I would talk with a rep to make sure I am getting the best deal possible.

I went on a cruise to Hawaii and it was so rough we were unable to stop in Maui where I had a hotel reserved. I called and was told this was not trip interruption and I should have gotten cruise insurance. I got this insurance because I was going places other than the cruise (like Maui). Anyway, I'm out $300.00 and the cost of the useless insurance.

Thank you for your review. Most travel insurance policies do not cover what occurred during your trip. There are some insurance providers that offer Cruise policies, these are policies that offer cruise specific benefits. Benefits can include Itinerary Change, Port of Call Change, Shipboard Service Disruption and others.
