Since we had no claim, we really do not know how to answer the question on satisfaction.

Sadly, I had to cancel my trip due to an illness. When I contacted Generali, the representative explained the process which was just how things proceeded. They sent a check for a full refund in a very timely manner.

Seven Corners Liaison Travel Basic
I purchased medical insurance only for our cruise. We are insured by Medicare and they don't pay outside the US. Several days into the cruise I was diagnosed with Pneumonia in the ships medical center. The treatment I received over three days cost nearly $9000. That charge was put on my credit card. I left the ship with all of the records of treatment and they were also emailed to me at home so I was able to submit the claim on line on March 6. I was told that it usually takes 4-6 weeks to process a claim. Fast forward 9 weeks and I am still waiting for them to begin processing. My account on their website indicates that I don't have a claim. Over the nine weeks I have spoken to at least 5 company representatives all of whom told me they are running behind. On April 9 I was told that my claim would be "expedited to claims". Today, May 9 I was told my claim would be "escalated to claims".
At this point in time I can't recommend this company. I will update if anything happens to change this opinion.
UPDATE TO THIS REVIEW.
On June 17 Seven Corners reimbursed me for the full amount of my of my claim minus the $1000. deductible that I had selected. Roughly 100 days after the claim was submitted. After I posted the original review I was contacted by a customer advocate from insuremytrip .com. She took over contacting Seven Corner and it was only a short time until the claim was settled. So all in all Seven Corners settled the claim to my satisfaction and Insuremytrip truly supports their customers

I did not mean to indicate that I would not recommend Seven Corners. At the end of the situation I would recommend them. They did what they were supposed to do. It just took longer than they said it would at first. So I do recommend them but Ii you buy insurance from them or possibly from anyone don't plan on a fast turnaround. Figure about 90 days.

GeoBlue Voyager Choice
Since I am on Medicare which does not cover me out of my provider location; I do need medical coverage when I go on vacation. My wife will also will need medical protection in a couple of years, when she turns 65 and goes on Medicare as well. We would be interested in travel medical insurance for a renewable period each year, which would also cover emergency transportation costs in case of a medical emergency, such as ambulance and air transportation. Does GeoBlue have an insurance policy that I have just mentioned? If so, I would be interested in looking at it. We travel frequently since we are both retired. Since we did not have any type of medical emergency on our trip, we did not have to make a claim, fortunately.

    Thank you for your inquiry.

In some states, GeoBlue does offer the Trekker Essential and Choice plans which are multi-trip medical and emergency medical evacuation plans. The plans cover trips no longer than 70 days in length per trip that you will be taking outside the United States during a period of one year. Both Trekker plans also require you to have primary health insurance in place, but there is no exclusion for pre-existing conditions. With the Trekker Choice plan, the secondary medical limit is 100,000 USD with no deductible, while the Trekker Essential plan has a secondary medical limit of 50,000 USD and a 50 USD deductible.

If you would like our help in quoting and purchasing a plan, InsureMyTrip is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and our customer care representatives are licensed insurance agents who are able to recommend the most cost effective plans which will cover the travelers primary concerns. If you would like to receive assistance in obtaining a quote or purchasing a policy, please call us at 800-487-4722 as we would be happy to assist you.

This is the first time I have purchased travel insurance, I purchased it in January for a family trip we were taking in June that had to be paid in full by early May. I experienced a health issue that could have put the trip at risk, but had the peace of mind knowing I had this coverage to recover most of the financial moneys I had paid.

Seven Corners Liaison Travel Basic
Fortunately we didn't have to use the insurance but it was a good feeling to know that we were covered if anything would have happened. It always seems expensive if you don't use the insurance but the fact that you don't have to worry during your trip that makes it worth it. It was easy to buy and select the exact coverage we needed.
