Unfortunately we were unable to take this trip due to the sudden and unexpected death of our traveling companion. The claim was filed immediately upon his death and the process was simple and it took a few weeks to have the claim approved. I consider myself fortunate since I do not need to file a claim, which was my expectation. As most people, I applied for coverage just in case it was needed.
When I applied for coverage, I considered your rate fair, but later on I learned from another member in my group, that she had coverage for half the price I got from you. Yes, it hurt. Her agent also searched for the best rate, as you do, so I must admit that it leaves me wondering.

The International Medical Group iTravelInsured LX plan is high-end and covered everything I could imagine that would happen, including travel cancelation and disruption, medical and rescue costs, and rental car insurance. While expensive, it cost several hundred dollars less than another provider's plan that didn't cover nearly as much and also excuded pre-existing conditions. My time spent outside the country was worry-free. I did not need to make a claim, happily. The sales and customer service staff of insuremytrip were excellent, and I will use their services in the future.

My tour company offered travel insurance but it was expensive. Seven Corners provided a plan at a better cost that gave excellent coverage. I didn't need it, thank goodness, but the security of having it was well worth it. Thanks.
