This review should be titled "You know how to write the insurance, you just don't know how to service it". During a recent cruise my wife required some non-emergency medical attention. when I returned from the trip three days ago I attempted to call this company to notify them of this claim. They tell you via a recorded message , that due to extremely high volume, you should either mail or email information to them or use their website. I emailed them 3 days ago and have not heard anything since. I attempted to use their website, filling in all required information in an attempt to obtain a claims form, but after doing that received a message that "this form is not available for download". Another call to their toll free number told me to press one in order to obtain a claims form, but that resulted in me being disconnected. So this company was extremely efficient at accepting my premium dollars, but when it comes to speaking to someone regarding actually submitting a claim, they are not to be found. I'll try to follow this up at a later date to update on any progress, but so far, count me as a very dissatisfied customer. Should someone contact me and pay this claim, I'll be glad to adjust my ratings.
Revised 4/03/2023. I was finally able to obtain the form to submit the claim. I sent them all of the documentation that they asked for. It took about one week until I received an acknowledgment that the claim had been received. After that, it took approximately three more weeks until I received the check for the full amount of my claim without any quibbling . So, aside from the initial delay in communication, they have handled this claim satisfactorily and I would now recommend this plan.

It’s hard to rate satisfaction since we did not file a claim. Trip insurance is very expensive as we are in our 70s. However, compared to other plans this one seemed to have good coverage at the most reasonable cost.

I sent an email asking question about filing a claim 10 days ago. I got an automated message that my email has been received, but have heard nothing back. This is a stressful enough time having to rearrange travel around the death of my father-in-law. However, not knowing when or how to be reimbursed for those purchases......or what I need to be saving to make sure I have adequate documentation has been even more stressful. I should have gotten an email immediately that told me what to expect and how to make sure I am doing everything correctly.

Although it took about four weeks for the adjuster to start the review of the claim, the process itself was very straightforward and painless. Initially, I submitted all required documentation, and that helped to quickly settle the claim.

I ould not afford a plan that covered anything other than severe acute hospitalizable medical care. Rather, i had four brief hospital stays all of which were below the deductible PER episode. I paid for each event in cash and none of the events were enough over the deductible for each event. First dollar coverage for any medical need was not in m y policy. It is a crap shoot whether to pay the very very high premium expecting to need a hospital or doctor visits, or pray not to get sick UNLESS it is a catastrophic illness. BH never loses in either scenario. It's just business to them.

We have been so fortunate that my 90 year old mom did not use your insurance , same as the lasts years . She travels every year from USA to her home town .
