When I called for medical assistance, the rep was slow and confused. She kept asking me for the same information. I ended up asking my hotel manager for help. He drove me to a nearby clinic he knew about. I don't understand why the rep could not have recommended the same. I'm just glad it was a relatively minor medical issue.

Fortunately I did not have to use this insurance. It is only in filing a claim that you know if you made a good choice. But I intend to continue to purchase my travel insurance from your company. I ended up having to file a claim with this provider. I thought the claim should be covered under trip interruption but they covered it under trip delay which had a $500 max. Good luck trying to get a real person on the phone. All they responded to was emails - no phone messages and no response on messages left. Buyer beware of the fine print. There are many other companies out there offering their services, I will be using them in the future. Lesson learned.

I was in Europe for about three months and picked up an infection on my left foot. At first I did not think it a serious thing than two weeks later it was painful to walk. At that point I contacted InsureandGo and was stunned how quickly the representative was able to process my claim and get me some help within an hour I was contacted by a local medical provider that scheduled me for surgery the next day! The Doctor in Serbia was fantastic and eventually my foot healed perfectly.

We strongly encourage customers to review the policy certificate prior to purchase to ensure that items you are looking to insure are covered. It is common for professional / occupational equipment or musical instruments to be excluded under the Baggage portion of a travel insurance policy.
