In business since 1926, Nationwide focuses on providing the best possible service for its customers. Nationwide travel insurance plans offer a range of innovative benefits for a variety of travel needs.
This plan compared well with the others I checked. We have our home and auto policies with Nationwide and we have had good experiences with our issues with house and car. So I felt comfortable using a Nationwide travel plan. Since we didn't have to use it, I can't comment on how well it covers travel problems.

Since I had no occasion to use the plan, gratefully, I am not really in a position to respond to the questions.
I can say my choice of coverage I would hope was what was needed if the occasion arise it I can also say from comparison with friends co erase, had I looked further I could have lesser coverage at a lesser rate.

Well I didn't use the insurance, so I can't say if satisfied or not. On the how satisfied question, I wish I would include Not Applicable. I don't think it is right to ask this question if you haven't had to deal with getting reimbursed, that is the real test of your company.

I filed a claim with the insurance after our cruise missed two ports due to a cyclone. Hang on to the paperwork the ship gives you that shows they have to deviate from the original cruise plan. We received $200 each for missing the ports. I would use this insurance again for our next cruise.

My wife and I both got sick at the end of our travels in Vietnam. It is at least a 3rd world country when it comes to health care. We forced ourselves to get on the plain and back to the US for medical care. I called to make a claim and was told our expenses are not covered because we have to have emergency medical care while we are on our trip. REALLY! Get medical care in Vietnam? I have heard that travel insurers always find a way to get out of paying claims. Not I've seen for myself. I won't be buying again, it is a waste of money for useless coverage.
