Thankfully, we did not need this coverage. However, another passenger on our cruise ship became quite ill and had to be taken to an island for treatment. It was another reminder of how quickly things can change in paradise. We were relieved to have this insurance even though we did not make a claim. Will not travel without coverage.

I felt relieved to know that I had the plan, in case I did need it! I thought the price was well worth the peace of mind. I would rather have the coverage and not need it, than not have it and need it! At least this did not cost a fortune like some of the others that I reviewed.

Filing a claim is the only way one can judge an insurance company. Unfortunately, my trip was cancelled secondary to snowy conditions. Getting the claim paid was an adventure in itself. I had just about enough when they insisted that they need my 8 year old's signature! The claim finally got paid when I threatened to file a complaint with government agencies.
