Generali Global Assistance Standard
I am a born skeptic when it comes to these type of policies. Two friends travelled to Europe over the past 4 years each having accidents that required surgery and hospitalizations. They recommend health 8nsurance policies for travel. My tour provided health insurance at twice the price I paid. I went for 3weeks to Europe worry free assured I would be taken care of if something happened that required medical care. I will buy again for future travels.

GeoBlue Voyager Choice
This plan was quite expensive for the very low risk and time frame it covered. About one third the cost seems more like an appropriate cost for the extremely low risk the company is exposed to.

    Thank you for providing your feedback. There are 2 main factors that determine premium costs for the Travel Medical Plans: the length of the trip and the travelers ages. The GeoBlue Voyager Choice plan also provided you with coverage for preexisting medical conditions.

TruTravel Insurance Premier
InsureMyTrip website was recommended by our local Consumer Advocate, Clark Howard. We selected TruTravel Premier due to the availability of comprehensive plan with "Cancel for Any Reason" option and the fact that it was Nationwide, a reputable company. We are not experienced travelers and asked a lot of questions in multiple calls / emails. The representatives were very helpful in helping us select appropriate coverage as multi-generational family members from different addresses (same state) but traveling together. The application process was fairly easy, and it was great to have an immediate printout and website of the policy and emergency contact info. Thankfully, we did not need it. I have already recommended the plan to a coworker. Thank you for a pleasant experience.
