I like the plan because it gives us the peace of mind before and during the trip in case of unforeseen problems come up. It would have cost less if the airline contractor system wasn't malfunctioning on the day I purchased the tickets. This company provided wonderful claim service and will the first one we look at for future travels. We had to file under "trip interruption" when a family emergency necessitated us cutting our trip short. On the morning we made the decision to head home I called to make sure I followed all the appropriate steps, not wanting to invalidate our claim for any reason. Ernesto answered the phone and provided wonderful customer service during what was obviously a very stressful time. He not only answered all my questions but offered to go ahead and start the claim process for me and to send me a "checklist" of what I would need to submit when we got home. As I was preparing to gather the paperwork I called and spoke to Victoria who was super helpful in making sure I understood what each piece of information requested was. I was told to allow 30 days to have the claim processed and approximately 3 weeks later I got an email stating that the claim in its entirety would be paid and today, 28 days after I submitted the paperwork, I have checks covering 100% of the claim in hand.
