Had to spend two days in hospital during trip to South Africa and then have emergency care in Cape Town. Filed all receipts with John Hancock upon my return. Received check for total reimbursement in two weeks. Communication was excellent and was very pleased with company's handling of my requests. Will use them in the future.

Nobody ever things anything will go wrong with their plans. But when it does it's nice knowing that there is a company that is there to help them through it. That's exactly what happened to us. We had to cancel our cruise do to a medical condition and Nationwide Mutual and Insure my trip came through for us in a very fast response and satisfaction time frame. We were not dissatisfied with the plan nor were we satisfied. Not possible to assign a rating to satisfaction as we did not have to use the service. The cost seems relatively high and I do wish there was a clause for "pet issues" So we do not have to determine whether to leave a dying pet or lose a large amount of money. Thank you for asking.
