I caught a headcold and thought I would see a doctor if it got worse, but did not need to. I also very nearly missed a connecting flight due to customs/TSA hassles. Although I'm glad I did not need to file a claim, I had the peace of mind that I had coverage for the expenses if my situation in both cases had not gone so well.

GeoBlue Voyager Choice

Generali Global Assistance Standard
The claims representative was Outstanding. I liked your plan that we purchased. I did not read it in detail as to coverage and exclusions. I was not aware that different air fare is not covered due to interruption of a trip due to injury. For example we flew to Croatia using Economy fare. Because of severe injury to my wife's shoulder, we flew back to US using Business class as she had to lay flat. We got reimbursed for the Economy value fare-almost $3,000 vs almost $8,000.

I still liked your policy and have recommended you to our friends who also visited Croatia. Fortunately they did not have to file claim but gave them a peace of mind.

InsureandGo Global Silver
I had to make a claim for delayed baggage. I supplied most of the requested documentation with the initial claim and it was paid in full and promptly without requiring any further documentation. I was very satisfied and have purchased a similar policy for next years vacation. My only suggestion for improvement is to allow email and fax to accept larger attachments. I had to split my claim into 4 separate sections and it still would not be accepted by email, and had to send in 4 separate faxes as their was a limit on the size of fax they would accept. That to one side, it was excellent service.

I purchase plans from Insuremytrip.com and have probably filed 3 claims out of perhaps 20 policies purchased. To make a long story short, I filed for trip interruption, damaged luggage, and lost item and of the 3, only partial payment ($50) was made on the luggage claim, all the others were denied despite substantial documentation. Wouldn't purchase from this company again.

We were able to reimburse you for the actual cash value of your damaged luggage. Our Baggage Coverage takes depreciation into account based upon the age of the item claimed.
