Remember that the medical coverage for this plan is secondary only. We filed a medical claim for our mother, and the adjuster asked whether or not she had primary medical insurance coverage. Luckily, she did not have primary medical coverage.

Secondary Coverage means that this coverage will pay only after any other Primary collectible insurance has paid the claim and the Primary policy limits have been exhausted. Then the Secondary plan would have paid in excess of the Primary. However, if there is no Primary collectible insurance and the claim is for a covered medical condition, then the Secondary would reimburse on a primary basis.Jun 07,2016

I haven't had to file a claim with RoamRight, so I don't know how easy their claims processing is. What I liked about it: My family's original European trip dates were for July and I had to change my trip dates to May. RoamRight did not charge me a fee when I switched my dates. I will highly consider using this company on my next overseas trip.
