The InsureAssist TravCan plan offers Trip Delay that includes reimbursement for "(b) Any reasonable additional expenses incurred" as a result of a Common Carrier delay. The policy defines Additional Expenses as "...any reasonable expenses for meals and lodging which were necessarily incurred as the result of a Hazard and which were not provided by the Common Carrier or other party free of charge." This definition precludes reimbursement for the taxi under this policy.
