The team was very responsive when I needed to change addresses. However, I became ill and had to cancel. I sent in the paperwork, and they asked for additional paperwork which had already been submitted. I have sent in 2 emails describing where the info is located in the paperwork I sent in.

    Thank you for your question. You do not have to notify HCC Medical Insurance or InsureMyTrip when departing on another trip since this is a multi-trip plan effective from 1/17/2016 to 01/15/2017. Please note that coverage is limited to a maximum of 30 days per trip.

    Your plan provided 24 Hour Assistance through MedJet Assist who specializes in transporting patients to and from hospitals, rehabilitation centers, specialized care facilities, and private residences with the same level of care that would be expected from a hospital ICU. Their aircraft contain state-of-the-art medical equipment, and their medical teams have the highest level of training and experience in the industry. Each medical transport has a two-person crew that consists of a critical care trained Flight Nurse and either a Flight Paramedic or a Flight Respiratory Therapist. They also have full-time specialty teams for IABP/Cardiac and transplant patients.

    In the event you required emergency medical treatment or transportation services during your trip, you or someone on your behalf would contact MedJet Assist's 24 hour emergency assistance phone number as soon as possible. MedJet Assist has an extensive database of medical contacts providing you with services that meet US standards. Although you did mention that you were in a remote area, there were probably local authorities for you to contact who would have assisted you in contacting MedJet Assist.

Because of the New York blizzard, we were in danger of having our flight home delayed. When I checked the details of the plan, I saw that I was only given $100 per day for trip delay. That would've been inadequate for my extra hotel night. therefore I feel that the plan was inadequate. I'm just lucky that the flight went home on time, or I would've been out a great deal of money.

On Call International Annual
One of our travel group became seriously ill and had to use the OnCall services which made us a great believer of travel insurance. We don't leave home without it and hope that we never need it, but it is comforting to know we are covered.
