AIG IS THE WAY TO GO, if you want a good basic travel coverage plan.
We luckily didn't need to call for assistance. However, a suitcase was momentarily lost. The amount covered in this plan would not have covered her lost items. Fortunately, we recovered her bag. We bought this plan for the big items, medical etc...

    Thank you for your review. The premiums of the policies are determined by the insurance providers. The premiums are based on the age of the travelers, the length of the trip and the cost of the trip. As travelers get older, it can cause the premiums to increase. At this time, due to insurance laws, travel insurance cannot be discounted ore rebated. Like all other types of insurance, such as auto and home, once a policy has ended the policy is deemed used and premium nonrefundable, whether there was a claim filed or not. Travel insurance is paramount when you are traveling overseas because there is no way of knowing if or when an accident or injury will occur and the medical costs associated with that event can be very expensive. Having insurance to cover those costs at a reasonable price is just good common sense and well worth the expense and peace of mind.
