ROAM RIGHT told me not to even file a claim for trip interruption even though I had insured a $700 credit card payment for a Wimbledon session that I could not attend. I was very disappointed with this company and will NEVER use them again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to learn that are dissatisfied with this policy. The claims administrator is required to adjudicate claims based on the terms and conditions of the policy.
We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.Aug 31,2017 -

We value your opinion and are sorry to hear that you were drenched from a rainstorm and opted not to attend the Wimbledon tennis match.
Like all other travel policies, RoamRight's policy clearly describes situations when there is coverage as well as situations when there is no coverage. And like other companies, our claims examiners cannot administer claims decisions over the phone. While our claims examiner did advise you that your reason for not attending the event did not appear to be a covered reason as outlined by your confirmation of benefits, she also explained that in order to receive an official claims decision a claim needed to be filed.
Subsequently, the claims administrator emailed claim forms to you. It is our policy to encourage travelers to file a claim for our review even when in doubt.

Fortunately, I had no need to use the insurance plan...but I will comment that it was easy to choose what I wanted/needed and purchasing the plan was a snap! Insuremytrip website does a great job of letting you compare plans and pricing. This is my fifth time using the site and I've been pleased each time with the ease of use.

With a mother who is in delicate position (medically) and our taking trip oversees, I felt confidant that this would cover any unexpected trip to change our plans. Fortunately, that didn't happen but I felt good about the options and having the converge.

Purchased a "Cancel for Any Reason" plan to cover our flight back east for a family reunion because at the time of booking we knew we had some circumstances that might impact or trip. Unfortunately we did end up with a situation that required one of us to cancel and rebook to a later date while the other had to cancel the trip completely. RoamRight was easy to contact and helpful in directing us on submitting our claims. The on-line claim process made submitting the claims simple and quick - and they were processed by RoamRight in a pretty timely fashion. We had reimbursements for the amounts the policy covered in a very reasonable time frame. Have the coverage certainly helped make a "bad" situation less "bad". We will definitely be looking to use RoamRight for future travel. While we prefer to not have circumstances that would require a claim, we'll have peace of mind knowing that we're covered if we do.

As far as the cost and coverage I am quite satisfied and will use you guys again for our next overseas trip. To really rate your company I would have to see how a claim would be handled (which thankfully was not necessary). It was nice to know that I did have coverage if it was needed.
