Seems odd to write such a positive review when I didn't use it at all but I travel alone and simply having this comprehensive yet reasonably priced plan gave me enormous peace of mind.

I have used InsureMyTrip before, and have been satisfied with the ease of enrolling. Since I am not always confident on the computer, I have occasionally called your customer service number, which has always been very helpful.

InsureMyTrip is very helpful in purchasing travel insurance. The CSA plan was fine; thankfully we did not have to file any claims. The weak point in the coverage is replacement of items in lost or stolen luggage. Coverage for the current market value of one's clothing is pointless; what the traveler wants is replacement cost.

Questions above really relate to customers who have had to collect on their insurance. We had no problems, fortunately. However, the process of obtaining the insurance was easy and I was able to print out the policy minutes after obtaining the insurance.

CS reps on the phone were friendly and most of my claims were processed promptly. However, I was not able to get my air ticket change fee reimbursed as the reason was due to "airline unable to crew flight attendants", which although an inconvenience to me was not a qualified reason for my claim.

Found InsureMyTrip on the internet and selected it based on customer reviews. I thought using a "broker" might be better than going directly to one of the trip insurance companies I have used in the past. Might get a "best" rate from a well known company. The rep was knowledgeable and helpful in selecting the coverage I needed at the best rate. I did not have to cancel or interrupt my trip so I do not know if a claim submission would go smoothly. I will use InsureMyTrip again.
