The transportation pak(rental car coverage) addition is a great value...in some foreign countries, the daily fee for zero deductible can be as high as $30. A Note of Caution: If you do have a claim, you will likely have to pay the charges prior to submitting for reimbursement.

Delta offered us cheap coverage for the flights but we wanted the extra coverage for other arrangements. Delta would probably be cheaper for just the flight portion.

Two days before my scheduled departure for Italy I injured my knee and was unable to travel. I filed a claim and three weeks later there was a check in my mail box for the entire amount.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating and fortunately I didn't have any problems.so I can't comment on the most important reason for buying this kind of insurance. That said, the communications from the company were timely and appropriate without being too many or annoying..

We had some damage to one of our luggage. We reported it to the airline but did not hear back. It wad not clear to us if our Insurance covered having the damaged repaired.
