The advocate immediately contacted RoamRight claims department who advised that the amount of your refund was correct as the claim was filed using the Cancel for Any Reason clause which reimbursed you for 75% for your prepaid non-refundable travel expenses.
Regarding the issue with the check being made out in the wrong name, it was unfortunate that your request to make the check payable to another party was received after the check was issued on September 21, 2017. RoamRight did put a stop payment on that check and issued another check in the correct name. We are sorry to hear that the process took an additional 44 days before you received the reissued check.
