While in Cuba on day 3 both of us tested positive for COVID. We were isolated in a Cuban hospital without any way to communicate due to language barriers, limited Wi-Fi, or Internet. Even though I got through to someone they never responded. I called 4 times. They did nothing to help us. Each call cost $2.99/minute. The bill will be hundreds of dollars for calls that did give us any support.

Absolutely do not get this insurance. Our family got Covid on a trip to Ecuador. I called the HTH Worldwide Trip Protector customer service as soon as we got a positive home test to see what we needed to do. I was told that we did not need to get a test at a doctor's office or pharmacy to prove that we had Covid. I was told that because of the highly contagious nature of Covid, that no proof was necessary. Now HTH refuses to cover our claim and we are out almost $2,000.
