I had the unfortunate loss during our covered trip, and upon return, filed a claim. It took 3+ months for reimbursement of funds, including 4 phone calls requesting some sort of answers for the lengthy delays. Ultimately, the claim funds were reimburse to me, however, only after a delay. This was after I submitted all the necessary paperwork, i.e. receipts, medical records, medical release of information, etc., so the delay was not on my (the customers) end. Good coverage for my families needs, but slow to reimburse the covered loss expense.

We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing [email protected], explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.
Great value and customer service. Unfortunately, I did have to file a claim. It was handled quickly and efficiently with a positive result. I would definitely recommend and will purchase again.

I've used the service several times...
In the plan I had delay on flight to help cover unforeseen cost...
The flight was delayed in Hong Kong for roughly 26 hours.
Called to verify my coverage.
They told me it was not covered because it's not a labor despite.
The protests in Hong Kong shut down the airport several days.
Do to this situation. I will not be using this company or its services ever again and will do everything in my power to make sure anybody I know and come in contact with doesn't either... Thank you for nothing but taken my money.

I booked a trip of August 12, 2019, at it was cancelled on June 23,2019. I still have not heard about the cancellation of my trip. I sent in the information on June 23, 2019, June 28, 2019, and July 17, 2019. It was for the cancellation of my trip at 75% of the costs I have maintained. I still have not heard any thing. I hope anyone who is booking a trip with them should think about someone else.

Thank you for your review. We apologize for International Medical Group's delay in making payment. After receiving your feedback, we assigned an advocate who was able to follow up with International Medical Group to confirm that your claim was paid under Cancel for Any Reason. You should have received your payment towards the end of August.
I found Travelex to be very responsive. I explained what happened and I had to file multiple claims to cover the costs. The format was very straight forward and simple. I had the check in 15 days from filing the claim. The only negative was their third party Global Assist. They were not very helpful. They told me I had to find my own doctor! They are suppose to provide a list of doctors. Fortunately we were on a tour and the tour director was very helpful in getting me a doctor to see. I already have taken another policy with Travelex for the trip we booked for next year.

I had to canc my trip due to my dog needing 24/7 supervision for a injury. Wasn't aware it would have to be a service dog if this happened. Next time I'll specifically ask. All other ins I bought, through my tour company, covers all reasons for cancellation. I just assumed they were all alike. Won't next time I get it.

We also offer a free look back period with all of our plans to allow customers to cancel their policies within a designated period as long as they haven't already left on their trip or filed a claim. Unfortunately you are correct, the plan you purchased is unable to provide coverage for the sickness of a pet that is not a service animal. The only hitches with the claim to Generali was a change in claim agent and a misunderstanding about the date a credit for a cancelled flight would expire. Took a bit longer to get this settled than I expected.
