Fortunately I did not need to use the insurance for this trip. However, I can comment that InsureMyTrip is very proactive in communicating with its clients both before and after the trip. The website is easy to use and they provide all information needed to make a good decision regarding which plan is best.

Customer service of insure my trip was excellent, they helped me narrow down the search on a few specific priorities and highlighted a plan I would of otherwise not recognized that was the best fit balancing also price. I've used this service on annual basis for past 10 years or so. Excellent program and tool also easy to use.

We did not use the plan. In the future we may use USAA as their prices are lower. Additionally, I also have coverage outside the U.S. due to VA disabilities.

The International Medical Group iTravelInsured LX plan is high-end and covered everything I could imagine that would happen, including travel cancelation and disruption, medical and rescue costs, and rental car insurance. While expensive, it cost several hundred dollars less than another provider's plan that didn't cover nearly as much and also excuded pre-existing conditions. My time spent outside the country was worry-free. I did not need to make a claim, happily. The sales and customer service staff of insuremytrip were excellent, and I will use their services in the future.

Excellent company and unique plan. Offers flexibility in percentage of at risk costs to insure and offers higher limits for medical coverage when desired. Older travelers with Medicare coverage have minimal primary health care coverage when traveling and can travel with confidence with the LX plan.
