Unfortunately we had to cancel the trip 10 days before departure, due to a health issue. The customer service person at Hancock was helpful, and the company paid our claim promptly, within the time period specified.

The email correspondence from John Hancock Insurance following the purchase was terrific. In addition, two or three days prior to our trip, we received a reminder email with a plan summary, and important numbers to call if necessary. Good work! The responsiveness from John Hancock provided us with a secure feeling in the event we needed to make a claim.
