The true measure of a travel insurance policy is when you make a claim and the plan pays without a hassle. I did not have to file a claim as everything went smoothly so although I can say it was easy to select and pay for the insurance I have no idea how the company would have treated me if I had to file a claim.

Thankfully I didn't need to use the insurance. However, I have had to use it in the past, and the costs were prohibited. I could not travel contentedly without insurance.

One of my travelling companions experienced a medical emergency during our trip to Japan. CSA representatives were quick, efficient and very helpful. They followed up with many phone calls and emails to see if we needed assistance returning home early and how the recovery was progressing. Very impressed.
