The plan is great, but it would be better to have one plan that includes the travel insurance and the medical evacuation insurance. One plan should have both for one price.

Generali Global Assistance Premium
My laggage was misplaced for 3 days on my return home. CSA when very slow in replying to my claim. In the end CSA washed their hands of my claim and are now refusing to pay my claim. I am very disappointed in this outcome and will never use CSA in any up coming travel.

    The CSA Custom Luxe will provide coverage for Baggage Delay in the event your delay occurs during your trip.

    "We will reimburse you, up to the amount shown in the Schedule, for the cost of reasonable additional clothing and personal articles purchased by you, if your Baggage is delayed for 12 hours or more during your Trip."

    Since your baggage delay occurred on your return flight home, coverage would not apply as you are home and would not need to purchase additional clothing or personal articles.

It is very hard to rate this plan since we (Thank's God) had no claims to report.
Hence, we can only say that the price was right for us and it seemed to cover our basic needs.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
Until you need to file a claim, it is nearly impossible to truly assess the quality of and your level of satisfaction with a given insurance policy. At face value, this appears to be a comprehensive plan at a reasonable price. I have bought this same plan on multiple occasions and fortunately have never needed to file a claim. I would advise people reading the reviews to concentrate on those where the purchaser needed to file a claim.

I was trying to buy premises coverage for a vacation rental apartment, but the site gave me trip insurance instead, and then told me my request for the premises coverage could not go through.

    On our site, we recommend the top rated Travel Insurance compies who provide trip protection, emergency medical and medical evacuation coverage. CSA is one of our providers who supply this coverage to us. It is possible that CSA provides Liability coverage for rentals, however since our site is not geared towards this type of coverage, you would have to purchase this directly with CSA.

We've purchased a CSA policy for the last several European trips and it gives us such peace of mind. We can relax and not worry about anything when we travel. We did have to cancel one trip due to a serious illnesses in the family. We received all of our money back because we had the insurance policy and the refund process was simple and quick.
