We use this plan for every cruise - I wish there was an annual plan.
On several occasions the ports changed and this is covered on this plan.
If we miss a port, pre paid tours are also covered.

My father was placed on hospice 1 month prior to trip departure. I cancelled at that time and within 2 weeks received my refund difference. My father passed away during the trip dates, so not having to worry about the hassle of getting my money back was a great relief.

Although we are very sorry to hear about the death of your father, we are pleased that Nationwide was able to provide such a quick settlement to your claim.
It was good to have peace of mind. Our cruise started with a delay to remove an I'll passenger from the ship by ambulance. Later, in Belfast, our ship was delayed again when a passenger died. These things do happen on vacations. I feel deeply for those passengers and their families and hope that they had insurance.

Our first Viking cruise got cancelled by Viking and when we booked a second cruise nationwide insured it at no cost to us terrific policy I have recommended it to people already

Because your company wasnt open at the time we were delayed I could not have my questions answered. We needed a hotel and paid for it with our credit card points. You then said you could not reimburse me for that. The cost of the room doesnt change because of how i paid for it. You couldnt answer my question and your insurance was worthless to me because of that. Will not use again.

Thank you for your review. Each insurance provider has a 24 hour emergency assistance center that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contact information for the assistance center is included in the confirmation email sent to you, after the policy is purchased. Within this information travelers are provided a contact number for in and outside of the United States.
The insurance is meant to cover your out of pocket expenses. When using points to pay for expenses, the only expense you may be out of pocket is the fees and taxes that may be applicable. As points are not out of pocket expenses those are not reimbursable. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
