I faxed my claim on July 22 and received approval on August 8, 2016 which I thought was pretty quickly. I didn't receive my payment until August 29. It took 21 days from the approval. That seems a little long to me. The letter said I'd get payment within 10-15 business days. That's exactly what it was but seems like after it's approved, the check should be processed immediately. Also, I didn't get payment for the extra night I had to stay in Capetown because of my friend's illness. Maybe all insurance policies are like that, don't know. But did receive reimbursement for the night I missed at Kruger, so I guess that was fair. The entire process took 5 1/2 weeks.....2 1/2 weeks for approval and 3 weeks to get the check. I think that process could be cut down and should be cut down.

Comprehensive Coverage plan premiums are calculated based on age of travelers, trip cost and length of trip. In some plans, destination may also affect the premium. You did choose the least expensive of our Comprehensive plans, so the policy premium was only 6.3% of your total trip cost.
Your comments on price is a frequent complaint. Nevertheless we do not expect any decrease in rates in the foreseeable future.
