We almost made a claim because the person we were worried about did die. However, a decision was made that since the funeral did not stop the Brants from going at the assigned time, the Walters went at their original time as well.

My trip to India was delayed by 5 days due to hurricane Sandy on the east coast. Airports were closed 3 days. I also had a power outage for 3 days with no computer or phone.
I contacted CSA to alert them that my trip was going to start 5 days later and asked for coverage to continue for the additional 5 days. They would not automatically extend my coverage but told me to file a claim and they would review it and proceed from there. When I left on my trip I did not know if I had the extended coverage.

The end result was they would insure me for the additional days for an additional cost. I found this out after being on my trip for a week. They wanted me to call them collect and give payment over the phone. I chose not to do this and fortunately I had no problems during any part of the trip.

I did not like the way they handled this. Since my original return was delayed by inclement weather and the flight had to be rescheduled due to airport closures, I don't understand why it was not covered by the policy. In their policy on page 9, item #3 and 4
state that I am covered for this very thing. CSA stated that I did not notify them until the day after my trip started. That was because I had a power outage too and was unable to. I also don't see where it states this in the contract.

Anyway, the end result is that I would not use CSA again, nor would I recommend them to my friends.

    We are happy to hear everything turned out well. CSA stated you would have to file a claim or pay the additional premium for the 5 days of coverage you would need.

One can only know how good something is good until they use it, thank goodness I had no problems,so because this was available to me with no problems, I am completely satisfied. The price seemed resonable and coverage was good.

Luckily, we did not have to submit a claim. But I felt better knowing that in the event something didn't go well, we had plan B in place. I felt good knowing I could contact CSA 24/7.
It was worth the money we spent. There is no price on "peace of mind".

I needed to extend my coverage for a few days due to a change in itinerary. The service over the phone was efficient, and everything was handled in a professional and courteous manner. I was very pleased, and also happy to not need to submit a claim.

I chose CSA because it was reasonably priced and offered the features I wanted. We never expected to have to use it. However I got sick on vacation and was hospitalized in Europe. CSA came through and paid all our claims. I would definitely buy CSA again. Thanks
